Very relaxing but classy. Life is too short for synthetics. It has great performance for a freshie and brings some nice elements to the table. I haven't tested Gentleman very extensively, but I've smelled enough fragrances to know my impression pretty quickly: generic and boring. Perfumes: 62751 It has an Italian citric scent, very similar to an Aqua di Parma colonia, A neroli based and a Zegna scent. It's moderately strong, which is exactly what I was looking for; great projection for about two to three hours, then becomes a nice musky vapor scent while remaining true to its original form. Even if the main players in the industry gave it a rest for a while and concentrated on sexy gourmand vanillas...oh yeah they already did that for a while back to the cycle of shameless, shapeless, awfulness. This would be less generic and a lot better if they concentrated this version with the exact notes instead adding and taking out notes to do the eau de parfum. I really like this fragrance but honestly smells like cerruti image. The original gentleman may have been a great scent in the 70ies, but smells totaly outdated today. Do I enjoy it? Its light but not super light. So I've been wearing this on skin today and i do not get the comparisons from Prada l'homme (my signature) or dior homme.
